Do you sell forklift parts for brands other than HELI?+
We stock and source parts for most major forklift brands including Toyota, Crown, Hyster, Yale, Caterpillar, Komatsu and others. Call 630-426-9156 with your unit's make, model, and serial number for fastest service.
What's the difference between electric, LPG, and diesel forklifts?+
Electric forklifts are best for indoor use because they produce zero emissions and operate quietly. LPG (propane) forklifts work both indoors and outdoors, and refuel quickly. Diesel forklifts deliver the most power and are designed for heavy outdoor work but can't be used indoors. We can help you choose the right fuel type based on your application, lift capacity needs, and work environment.
How long does a forklift battery last?+
A traditional lead-acid forklift battery typically lasts 5 to 7 years or about 1,500 charge cycles with proper maintenance, including correct watering, equalize charging, and avoiding deep discharges. Lithium-ion forklift batteries last 8 to 10+ years and require no watering. We sell and service both types.
Do you offer same-day or emergency forklift repair?+
Yes. We provide mobile forklift repair throughout the Chicago, Northwest Indiana, and Southern Wisconsin area. For breakdowns affecting your operations, call 630-426-9156 — we dispatch a certified technician with a fully stocked service truck. Same-day response is available for most service area locations.
What's included in a preventive maintenance (PM) plan?+
Our PM plans include scheduled inspections of all critical systems: hydraulics, mast and chains, brakes, tires, battery and electrical systems, forks, controls and safety equipment, plus oil changes, filter replacements, and operational testing. Plans are customized to your usage hours and number of units. PM customers also get priority response on emergency repair calls.
Can I rent a forklift for one day or one week?+
Yes. We offer flexible forklift rentals by the day, week, or month, plus long-term leases. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates apply, and our fleet includes electric, LPG, and diesel units across multiple capacities. Delivery and pickup throughout IL, IN, and WI is available.
Do you service forklifts at your facility, or do we bring them to you?+
Both. We have a full repair shop at our Elmhurst, IL location for major rebuilds and overhauls, and we operate mobile service trucks for on-site repair, planned maintenance, and forklift safety inspections at your facility. Most routine work is done at your site to minimize downtime.
What's the warranty on a new HELI forklift?+
New HELI forklifts come with a manufacturer warranty that covers the powertrain (engine, transmission, drive axle) for 2 years or 4,000 hours, whichever comes first. Other components are covered for 1 year or 2,000 hours. Extended warranties are available on select models. Used and reconditioned units carry separate warranty terms that we'll detail per unit.
