FOUNDING 5 PILOT · 12-MONTH LOCKED RATE

Lift By the Hour™.
Pay only for hours your truck runs.

We own the truck. You operate it. We meter actual run-time via IoT and bill for hours used. PM, repairs, parts, and a loaner if it’s down > 48 hrs — all included. From $420/mo base + $2.85/operating hour.

— Why this exists

Monthly rental punishes light users.
Hour-based pricing rewards efficiency.

Traditional rental bills you the same whether you ran the truck 200 hours or 1,000. That math hurts the operator who’s efficient — the one who runs single-shift, keeps batteries topped up, and parks the truck overnight. Hour-based metering says: you don’t pay when the truck doesn’t work. Light months stay light. Heavy months scale up. The truck still gets PM’d and repaired by us — bundled into the base.

— How it works
01
Choose your class

Pick from the rental fleet — 12 truck classes covering electric, LP, diesel, and aerial.

02
We deliver, IoT-installed

Truck arrives same-day within 30 mi (per the delivery promise) with the IoT hour meter pre-installed and reporting.

03
You operate normally

Run the truck as you would any rental. The meter logs engine-on / key-on hours and reports to our portal hourly.

04
Pay base + hours used

Monthly invoice = base fee + (hours × per-hour rate). One line for the base. One line for the meter total. PM/parts/labor bundled in.

— The math, with real numbers

Hour-based vs. flat monthly · 5,000-lb LP cushion class

Hour-based base: $420/mo. Per-hour rate: $2.85/hr. Traditional flat monthly for this class: $1,950/mo.

Monthly hoursProfileHour-based totalTraditional flatDifference
200 hrs Light · single-shift, low cycles $990 $1,950 −$960 saved
500 hrs Standard · single-shift, regular use $1,845 $1,950 −$105 saved
800 hrs Heavy · 1.5-shift or multi-station $2,700 $1,950 +$750 more
1,200 hrs Continuous · 2-shift, multi-operator $3,840 $1,950 +$1,890 more

Breakeven: ~537 operating hours/month. Under that, hour-based wins. Over it, traditional flat usually wins — and that’s the signal to talk about Total Coverage™ instead.

— Included in the base

Same coverage as our Total Coverage™.

Preventive maintenance

Scheduled PM at OEM-recommended intervals. Filters, fluids, brake checks — done by our techs, at our cost.

Repairs + parts

Mechanical failures: parts and labor included. Operator damage (forks through racking, collisions) is billed separately.

Loaner if down > 48 hrs

If we can’t restore the truck inside 48 business hours, a loaner arrives at no extra base fee. Hours meter switches to the loaner.

Portal access

See your truck’s hours, scheduled PM, last service visit, and current invoice running total — any time, from any browser.

— When does each one fit?

Three programs, three different shapes.

FOUNDING 5 PILOT

First 5 customers · locked pricing for 12 months.

IoT-metered billing is operationally new for us. We want the first cohort to be close partners we can iterate with — on the meter, the portal, and the invoice format. In exchange: the rate you sign at is the rate you keep for 12 months, regardless of how the program evolves.

  • Locked base + per-hour rate for 12 months from go-live
  • Direct line to the dispatcher who owns the program
  • Input on the meter + portal — what reports get sent, format of the monthly invoice
  • Right of first refusal on a 2-year extension at the same rate

— FAQ

Common questions, plainly answered.

IoT hour meter counts engine-on time (for IC trucks) or key-on + drive-or-lift hours (for electrics). Idle on a charger doesn't count. The truck reports usage hourly to our portal; you see your running total any time.
Zero. You can run the truck 5 hours that month and pay base + $14.25. Light-month protection is the whole point.
It's our hardware on our truck. If the meter goes dark, that month bills at the prior 3-month average. We replace the meter at our cost on the next service visit.
Pilot pricing locks for 12 months at the rate you sign at. After the pilot, month-to-month with 30 days' notice either direction.
Yes — operating lease structure. Talk to your CFO about deductibility; this isn't a capitalized purchase.
PM and repairs are included. If we can't restore service in 48 business hours, you get a loaner at no extra base fee. The broken unit's hours freeze at zero and our portal switches metering to the loaner.
IoT-metered billing is operationally new for us. We want the first cohort to be close partners we can iterate with on the meter, the portal, and the invoice format. After we've worked out the kinks at 5, we open it up.
